Company Reviews

All Roof + Solar Companies in the Northeast

We've researched and rated 12 companies offering roof + solar bundle services across New England and New Jersey.

Our rankings are based on our 5-category scoring system. Each company is evaluated across integration quality, roofing materials, solar equipment, reputation, and pricing.

How We Selected These Companies

To qualify for our review, a company must serve at least one of our five covered states (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, or New Jersey) and offer services that combine or coordinate roof replacement and solar installation in some way — whether as a fully integrated bundle, a side-by-side service, or a referral-based partnership.

We rate each company across 5 equally weighted categories — from the depth of their bundle integration and roofing materials quality to solar equipment, reputation, and pricing. Our methodology is published in full at /methodology so you can evaluate our process for yourself.

Not all companies score equally, and that's by design. The 5-category scoring system favors companies that made the roof+solar bundle their core business, use premium roofing materials with strong warranties, and have earned consistent positive reviews from real customers. Companies that offer solar or roofing as a secondary service, or that can't demonstrate a strong reputation in the integrated bundle, score lower.

Our top recommendation, Evergreen Solar Corporation, pioneered the roof+solar bundle in the Northeast and consistently outperforms competitors across the categories that matter most. We have a commercial relationship with Evergreen — see our full disclosure.
